When planning a winter vacation in Colorado, you’ll likely never find a spot more beautiful or exciting than Copper Mountain.

Located just 75 miles west of Denver, Copper Mountain and surrounding areas offer experiences like no other.

Why Copper Mountain?

Copper Mountain in the winter is adventure-filled, and Comfort Condo offers an elevated winter vacation with something for everyone.

With 2,500 acres of high alpine skiable terrain, this is the ideal spot to ski to your heart’s content, discover new winter activities, or snuggle up the fireplace and enjoy some much-needed downtime.

Guest enjoy a centralized pedestrian village with dining, shopping, and activities surrounded by breathtaking winter views.

With so much to do, you can choose the pace and level of adventure you prefer. In addition to being a highly desirable skiing destination, Copper Mountain is equally appealing to travelers who want to take in winter’s unique beauty and spend time with the people they love.

What Winter Activities Are Available at Copper Mountain?

There are plenty of activities to enjoy when visiting Copper Mountain, including:

The Tubing Hill

Nothing says family fun better than sliding and spinning down the tubing hill

This is not your typical hill, thanks to a carefully plotted course designed to make the run action-packed and exciting. Plenty of banked turns make this the ultimate winter tubing adventure.

The Snow Maze

This free activity creates hours of fun as your gang tries to make their way through this intricately designed maze.

Tackle the labyrinth as a group, or pair up and challenge each other to see who finds their way out first. The snow maze is safe for families and an excellent way for younger kids to build an appetite before enjoying lunch or a snack and warm beverage in the East Village.

The Rocky Mountain Coaster

This 5,800-foot-long coaster is one of the longest in North America, descending 430 vertical feet and reaching up to 25 mph.

This winter thrill relies on self-controlled carts on rails instead of skis to glide down the mountain effortlessly. Kids 9 years and at least 52” tall can ride on their own, and parents can ride with children a minimum of 36” tall and 3 years of age for free.

Skiing

With 150 runs, reaching up to 1.7 miles long, Copper Mountain features skiing for people of all levels.

With a good balance of about 34% beginner and intermediate runs and 17% expert runs, you’ll discover just over 2,500 acres of skiable terrain. There are also 24 lifts ranging from gondolas to surface lifts, making it easy to tailor your skiing experience.

Whether you’re traveling with other couples, are a family with kids, a multi-generational family with tots to grandparents, or a group of diehard skiers, experiencing Copper Mountain provides the opportunity to build memories that last a lifetime.
